How to Cook A Classic American Cheeseburger (New Video!)

If you ever just want a classic American cheeseburger from scratch, this is my recipe with video!

Supplies Needed:

Large Non-Stick Skillet

Parchment paper

Ingredients:

1 lb 80/20 ground beef

salt

pepper

hamburger buns

american cheese (or whatever melty cheese you prefer!)

any toppings you like, ex: Ketchup, mustard, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, egg, bacon, avocado, and on and on…)

Form wide flat patties by hand on a sheet of parchment paper, sprinkle on one side with salt and pepper, place patties in pan, sprinkle other side with salt and pepper, cook in a very hot pan for 3-4 minutes until a crust begins to form on one side of the burger, then flip, put cheese on to melt, and turn the heat off after a minute or two.  Gather your sides, toppings and set the table, when ready, place the patty between a burger bun, top it and enjoy!
